Feel free to suggest more choices.

I have to vote for the 2007 Patriots.  The expectations were just so high.

By far the 2007 pats imo. 18-1

I just can't like hockey enough to care about the Stanley cup.

I was just a kid, but 1987. I thought Bird was nearly infallible.

When he missed the shot at the buzzer in game 4, I was incredulous.

Being a Cs fan foremost... Definitely the 10 Celtics.
Mere minutes aways from the title.. Heck we weren't defeated by Kobe but by Ron Artest of all people knocking those critical threes.. Hurts the most as well because it was the Fakers that beat us.. Any team I probably could stomach but not the Fakers.

2010 still feels like a gut-punch.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

well, since I'm not a Pats fan nor a Bruins fan, of the choices listed, 2010 Celtics is the easy winner.  having said that, as a Milwaukee Brewer fan, 1982 World Series game 7 loss is still the most bitter for me.  still hate the Cardinals with a passion to this day

surprised you haven't listed 1975  or 1986 Red Sox World Series losses.  I'm sure those would get some votes.

07 Pats.  To come that close to the greatest season ever only to lose to a New York team led by a crappy QB was super brutal.

It was especially bad because I was a freshman in college and I was surrounded by Giants fans despite the fact that I was at a school in Boston.

The 2010 team played like dog crap for much of that season and then "flipped the switch" in the playoffs.  But their biggest weakness the whole time was energy and rebounding, and that was ultimately what did them in.  If they had home court in Game 7 and/or Perk didn't blow out his knee in Game 6, maybe they win anyway.  But in some respects that loss made sense.  They were good but not quite good enough to beat Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum, Lamar Odom, and Ron Artest.  Yeah, I'm leaving Kobe out of that list because it wasn't Kobe's shot making that won the Lakers that series.  It was their size and strength inside.

2010.  I was a mess for weeks after that.

Even when they still had a double digit lead in the fourth I could feel the momentum shifting and just knew.  I saw them blow so many leads that season and I could just see it coming.

How was this not a choice in the poll? Easily the worst series loss in my lifetime.

2007 and it's not even close.

I might have to think about trading three of the Patriots' Super bowls for 2007.

2011 is another argument but ugh, the Manningham sideline catch. Mankins and Welker let Brady down.

Pats.

I still have to deal with Giant fans here in NY, it totally sucks.
