When you consider the TV ratings potential for a round 1 game 7 Ron Artest return, a seven game suspension makes perfect sense.

I believe the previous longest suspension for throwing an elbow is 2 games.  That includes live and dead ball plays.

Artest thrives on attention..Thus the pathetic name.  Thus the antics. Any kind of attention is good.  If he shuts up, he gets no attention.

I'm just looking forward to whoever buries the Lakers - for good - this post-season.

Whether it's MEM, Spurs, DAL, OKC - they will get a heartfelt THANKS from me.
