Celtics in 6.

I think the home team win the first five games. Then the first road win is Boston taking Game 6 and winning the series.

Cavs lose games 1 and 2. Celtics split in Cleveland and end it in 5.

Cavs not a good road team. They have to have a banged up Mitchell carry them. Even if Allen plays he’s going to not be 100 percent.

Cavs will still be worn out mentally and physically Tuesday. I just don’t see anyone other that garland and Mitchell. Plus the Celtics are a bad matchup for the Cavs offensively.

This series will look a lot like the regular season games where the Celtics pretty much dominated.

it feels like the Celtics in 5 or 6 at the worst.  D Mitchell is going to have to guard someone with that gimpy knee.  Whoever that is needs to run him ragged when we have the ball.

For some reason I think this series is going to be easier than Miami. The Celtics don't have the weird emotional baggage they had with Miami. The Cavs' 2 best offensive creators play the same position as the Celtics' 2 best defenders. It would be better to have KP but I think his absence is going to keep everyone focused.

This is where we need Luke to step up and just be a good consistent player at both ends of the court.  He is going to get his chances in this series.  If he plays smart and within himself like he did in game 5 against Miami, it would be huge help.

Depends on Jarrett Allen.

This should be a quick 4 or 5 game series without him. It would likely be a short to medium series (5-6 games) if he misses the start but plays the remainder. One Boston should win comfortably.

Or I would expect a long hard fought series (6 or 7 games) if Jarrett Allen plays the whole series. One which may even go either way.

I find it hard to make a single prediction when Jarrett Allen is such a wild card. So there is three different predictions based on his health.

I think Game 7 will be day 20 of KPs injury. If it comes down to game 7, he could/should (?) be ready.

Yeah, Porzingis is another wild card.

I wonder if his injury is less serious might we see him midway through the series.

We win every game Hauser is HOT .

He is the X Factor , they won’t guard him , he ll have wide open shots …..if he knocks them down ,  that lets the Jays play  one on one offense.

Celtics in 7. We split the first two games because we are crap at home in the playoffs for whatever reason. We steal game 4 on the road to even up the series. Cavs take Game 5 at the Garden to take a 3-2 lead.

Celtics play with a sense of urgency and Tatum/White goes off with a monster performance at the fieldhouse in Game 6, forcing Game 7 back in Boston. Boston blowout Cavs to take Game 7.

The Cavs only scored over 100 points in two games against the Magic 104. and the Magic scored 103 in that one and the 106 today. The Cavs only have a 2 point DEFETG. We should be able to score big numbers against the Cavs and keep them in check with our defense. Once again I'd like to see Joe widen his rotation and just play at a breakneck pace.

C's in five.

The cavs just aren't going to be able to score enough to really challenge the C's. There will be one game where Micthell goes crazy, or the Cavs hit 50% of their threes where they will win but other than  that outlier performance they are out gunned.

I never worry about the stars. It’s always the guy that didn’t get drafted and is the last guy on the bench who goes for 40 against us.
