  • Yup
From what I saw this morning it seems like the size of this storm is more of a concern than its actual intensity (not that it's a weakling).  Looks like it's taking a really long time to work its way through, and reaching much further inland than your average hurricane.
Yup

Hey guys. Everything's fine. Although, my friends fence broke apart and their were a little bit of water coming through our door, it wasn't bad as I thought. Finally, was able to get online.

9:30 PM was when the power got shut off.
10:00 PM was when when winds got really really strong.

Stayed up the whole night. My city didn't get it as bad as the other cities. I stayed at Katy. I was amazed by all this because I've never seen anything like it. Power didn't come back on until like 30 minutes ago. Went back to my apartment to see if its still there, it is.  ;D

Were some damage, though. Roof's in bad shape. Didn't completely rip off so I'm pretty lucky. Gonna stay at my friends house for a couple more nights since the power at my apartment is still gone and my friends house has power, so that means the A/C doesn't work at my apartment, that means I'm gonna sweat my butt off. More info later guys, gonna help my friend screw in his window since it got a little loose last night.
