One of the media guys asked him what was injected in his knees. And Kemba replied.... "I don't know"   ;D

He also stated that he has played a lot since becoming a Celtics and deserves some time off (or to this effect)

Some of these media guys like John Karalis kept pressing him about his knees. You can tell Kemba was getting annoyed

All in all... got very little from this session.  The one good thing to hear was that he was feeling better after the injections vs feeling crappy at times last season

I read that the Celtics were targeting an original late January early February start to the season when they decided on Kemba’s treatment and rehab so that’s why he’s coming back late. The NBA moved up the start and that changed things.

Did anyone ask him about Ainge trying to trade him to the Bulls or Cavs this off season? Zach Harper swears it is true.  They are really bashing Ainge this on the Ringer Podcast (pro Philly and LAL slant LOL).

sounds like it was made up

Even Holiday to Celtics rumor.  How were the Celts going to fit his salary?

The Celtics were probably blowing smoke to drive up the price.  End of the day it worked, since Bucks paid a ton for a one year rental (at this time)

The Celtics seem linked to every trade. Most of it is total smoke.

When asked about Hayward's contract with Charlotte and if he were jealous, he said he "could care less."  That means he does care.  Hope this doesn't cause tension.  :o

The offseason when Kemba signed with the Celtics, is linked to tampering issues for many teams, players and agents. It even lead to the league making changes/updating protocols regarding free agency (mainly don’t make it so obvious by signing a free agent one minute after you can start talking them). Did Danny make a promise to Kemba and his agent, before the start of free agency? Did this promise supersede any issues that would have come up during Kemba’s physical? Did Kemba play through this knee issue during his final season in Charlotte, in order to get his max deal? Is the issue with Kemba’s knee a physical limitation or pain tolerance thing?

Good news, of course, but I still think Kemba's ultimate fate this season is going to be worse than what most Cs fans are expecting. He's probably going to have to be babied throughout the regular season, but even then I don't trust his knee to stay healthy enough for a long, grinding playoff run.

Stevens said he's been pain free for months.  Great sign.  Anyone hear any target dates for Romeo?
