Boston was very fortunate that St. Louis shot hit the post. And Boston had a couple good chances there towards the end of the third. Sure would be nice to go up 2-0 in this series.

I felt more confident down 2-0 in Game 1 than I have at any point tonight. I'm not sure if we're playing like crap or the Blues just look better than last game

We do look a bit behind eight ball tonight. Rask has us in this. Their goaltender woke up as well but we are getting out hustled and outshot and outhit tonight. All we need is one now though!

The Blues are playing much better, with more energy and are a lot more physical than us. Our first line has also looked like garbage tonight.

With that said, we’re somehow still tied 2-2 heading into OT. Rask has been sensational again. Hopefully we can get one good push early and score a goal soon.

That was pretty predictable.  I was in the midst of typing that the writing was on the wall.  Constant pressure by St. Louis.

Too bad.

Not surprised the Blues won this one. They deserved it.

We need to show up and give everything to earn back home ice
I'm bitter.

As soon as I saw the trip I knew it was iver, either from the extra attacker on the delayed penalty or the power play. The Blues were just too relentless

I am throwing things

Reverse of Game 1 - Bruins came out scoring, then after our 2nd goal, Blues were the aggressor, more physical, sharper passing and most of all quicker to the puck allllllllllll night long. Marchand was awful. Golden opportunity to win the Cup this year.

Please explain to me why a team (Bruins) only has 5 defenseman available for rotations when one is injured in the game. For example, in football, if you have, say, a 6-man rotation on your defensive line and a defensive end gets hurt, you still have reserves to continue with a 6-man rotation ??

I love the Bruins, but I am no hockey expert.

It's just roster size.  You only get 20 players per game, or more specifically, 18 skaters and two goalies.

Those are divided up as 12 offensive players (4 lines, 3 players per line) and 6 defensemen (3 pairings of 2).

One of the worst OTs I’ve watched. They looked flat starting in the 2nd period and it continued that way for the remainder of the night.

We need a lot more from the 1st line moving forward. You can’t expect to win a Cup being carried by your 4th like.

St Louis looking to avenge their Rams and not going away.

Not good with Blues having home-court now.

It's all good. We will regroup and steal Game 3 back. I can feel it!

Got it. Thanks.

So is this a significant problem for the Bruins going forward ?  The game commentators talked on and on about what a disadvantage this put Boston at during Game 2. Did it contribute to our inability to reduce the pressure St. louis put on tonite ? They easily outshot us and kept the puck in our end for long possessions.
