. . . and that's why Rose won the MVP last season.

or why the Lakers aren't a threat in the West.

I'm going with all of the above.

As an aside -- did anybody else notice how Mike Brown ran the same "hero offense" with Kobe at the end of the game there as he used to run with LeBron in Cleveland?
I saw terrible decisions. Why didn't Pau get more touches?

Mike Brown offense.

Brown should be slapped. He shouldn't even be the head coach of the team.

the lakers shouldve won that game...the bulls shot what? 40%?

bad decisionmaking on offense for the lakers...but thats what happens when the team goes into "kobe mode" usually.

I know. The Celts don't need a Guy like Perk.  Besides, they already have a guy who puts a choke hold on a player after the game has ended.

LOL, yea, to think we once had both of them on the same team along with Posey and Tony Allen.

It looks like Dwight Howard has already come out with the attitude that he's mailing it in this season until he gets traded.

He's almost sleepwalking. I bet he's already packed up.

the clippers look good, but not great by any means. I think getting Paul ensures that we get their pick this year, but it won't be a very late pick, I think we will make out well.

I was just reading the box score and I'm curious...is the NBA allowing 13 players active this season?  The box score only lists Pierce and Pietrus as inactive, and 13 players available, while some were DNP-CD.

Did they change the rule and I missed it?

Yes - because of the lockout teams can have 13 active players til sometime in February I think.
