Much love to Gordon Hayward.

This team is a raging inferno about to take form.

People are sleeping on Brad Stevens - that is a losing battle.

Ho hum. A mere 30+ tonight.

Update: Ends the night with a putrid 36 points

I hope you wouldn’t expect a response from the OP, as those only come when Hayward doesn’t have a good game.

Much love to Gordon Hayward.

This team is a raging inferno about to take form.

People are sleeping on Brad Stevens - that is a losing battle.

I do feel like we are close to turning the corner for good. Hard not to overreact to the two Texas L’s but I really think Baynes would make a very big difference in some of these games.

I think Brad is still tweaking and testing his lineups but really feel like we are just about ready to go on run that the entire league takes notice of.

35 points on 14-18 shooting and 3-3 from the line!

His first couple of shots looked awful too! Multiple opportunities help for sure.

Gordon Hayward was able to turn back the clock and put up 35 points on the-  fierce in name only - Minnesota Timberwolves last night!

This brings Hayward's double digit scoring games tally to 17 games this season.  is double digit to single digit games scoring ratio at 17:20.

He is now averaging 11.1 pts per game this season, and 10.8 ppg in the last 30 days.

He has scored 30 pts or more against the Timberwolves twice this season.

This performance certainly will make a lot of fans happy, but this is coming off of a game where Hayward scored 0 points in 22 minutes. If we are we are going to make some noise this season, we are going to need more consistency moving forward.

Overall, though, just a fantastic game from Hayward who showed off his entire offensive arsenal last night with hesitation drives, step-backs, 3s, and some monstrous dunks!

Consistency develops from confidence. A confident player understands that poor play is an anomaly and plays his way out of it. Gordan needs to get to this point again. Games like last night help the process for sure.

As we've seen, he's had great games before, what he does after them is just as important. When Gordan is right, he is a wonderful combination of scoring, defending, and facilitating.

Frankly, one of the few players on this team with these attributes.

This 36 pt game is as much a part of the process of him getting back as the 0 pt game was.  This will be great for his confidence in himself and the team's confidence in him but I expect there will still be ups and downs for him.

I did not see the game last night but what I have seen is a player that is moving well on the court which is the most important thing.  The shooting and play-making will continue to come.

LOL so you dedicated a "double digit scoring thread" to a guy literally averaging double digits in scoring.
