Love Gomes but I'd look around for a bigger option at PF first

I would be bringing Ryan Gomes in more as a SF than a PF. Well, a combo SF/PF who can play some PF against small-ball lineups when needed.

I wouldn't be looking to him as big man help. More as insurance behind Pierce and Green. That third string SF which has been missing.

I would like Ryan Gomes as third string SF/PF. Sold.
Haven't seen him play in a long while, how is he looking as a SF? But yeah, I'm leaning towards yes...
Yeah, I haven't seen Gomes play in a long time either. Not since he was starting with the Clippers. That was two years ago. He was playing well then though. Not well by starting SF standards but well for below average but solid primary backup SF. If he can do anything like that, he'd be an very strong third string SF.

I understand where you're coming from but I would prefer a PF/C player than a SF/PF player as the next person signed to the roster.  I really think we need an option to Bass at PF that has some size.
