A lot of banging tonight, not pretty at all, but a solid win over a tough team.  Pierce came to play tonight, in a playoff type of physical game and he took over when needed.  The Captain indeed.  Perk was beastly, and I liked what Big Baby did out there tonight.  KG continues to roll steady on both ends.

Other thoughts:
- Rondo was pretty well out of it tonight
- Paul is all he's cracked up to be
- Congrats Pose...Now BUH-BYE

Uneven game overall. Celtics would look awesome and the Hornets out of sync. Then suddenly they'd get 3 fast break buckets. Also got a view of CP3's mean streak as he tried to undercut players and set a nasty pick on Perkins late.

They were trying something new with Rondo when they were playing off him in the second and third quarters. I didn't see it work out, hopefully they come up with something. I liked Doc sticking with House and the starters during the key stretch of the game.

Rondo?  I saw as many, or more, lapses from Rondo as I did good stuff last night.

I was happy that Chris Paul was held in check. I thought Rondo did a good job there.

20 points, 14 assists, 6 rebounds, 3 steals .... held in check? Jeez, only Chris Paul qualifies for that.

5-16 from the field, couldn't get his shooters open shots (Peja 2 points), Hornets offense struggled all night. I thought Rondo played a nice role in that. I also thought he did nice job at making it difficult for Paul to bring the ball up court. I felt he deserved a point for it.

Not an all round performance from Rondo but it had it's own bright spots.

Thanks.  Guess I can see that.  The careless passes and forced shots in the paint blinded me a bit.  Both teams seemed to do a lot of cancellations of their own miscues last night.
