Very choppy offense so far.  We need to get out in some transition to loosen things up for us.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

I hope Roy is okay to get back in this game.  I've been looking forward to seeing him play against us for awhile.

Tough call on Pierce.  Hopefully he won't get discouraged from going to the rack, that's what he needs to do to get out of this slump

That was interesting. Roy and Pierce talking to each other. Didn't know Roy was a trash talker, also.

Pierce just needs to shut up, why talk trash when you're getting schooled

Pierce is struggling but his body language on the court has been great.  Fist pumping, pumping up the crowd, helping Celtics up.  He is trying to not let this slump get him down.

Interesting story about him being in the gym at 8 this morning.  The guy has become one of the hardest workers around according to the sources.  I'm not embarrassed at all the way he's carrying himself on national TV.

You know, I haven't TPed FL in awhile... Sorry here's one to catch up. Should kinda be a mandatory part of posting frequently

Following online with box scores... seems like both Roy and Pierce are off their games... That being said, I never worry about Pierce anymore. He's a proven vet by now, a little trash talk won't take him off the game.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Anybody watching ESPn at the half? Walton just killed Ainge saying something like if Danny Ainge hadn't been in a coma for the 5 years before last the celtics would get more national respect. Wow

Well that was indeed an interresting 1st quarter from my perspective.

Going into this game my eyes were on limiting Guard Penetration from both our 1st and 2nd team, its going to tell just how well this bench plays without a guard stopper off the bench in Tony Allen against a good guard heavy team.

Pierce dosnt have the speed in his legs lately (as i see it) to guard a Brandon Roy, so Ray Allen will be key.

Bench vs Bench hasnt looked as bad as i could be, Blazers has a unique great producing bench but they havnt had an impact so far.

The last stretch was great though, we stopped guard penetration with Ray on Roy and collapsed the defense when aldridge got the ball down low, if we can keep that up we will win this game.
"Leadership is diving for a loose ball, getting the crowd involved, getting other players involved. It`s being able to take it as well as dish it out. That`s the only way you`re going to get respect from the players"

Looking forward to more Powe in the next half.  His activity is incredible.
