** Another nice win for the Patriots this week, although they played like crapolla in the first half, they came back in the second and played their game, with some more big plays by the defense, (and Arrington in particular). Real rough week for me for many reasons, so I won't bore you all with a long, boring, meaningless diatribe, (the crowd roars with appreciation). I do want to apologize for not getting the Patriots game thread up, though ... hope it wasn't a big problem. Anyway ...

Well, as BassThumper was a bit cheated (by a single rushing yard) last week, it seems only fitting that he should pull down this week's victory, and he did so with a sweet performance by Matthew Stafford ... congrats, Brotha! We had eight players once again this week, but it would still be nice to recruit a few more if possible ... it's hard to believe we're into week twelve already, and only a couple days away from Thanksgiving.

As usual, the winning score receives seven times the number of players in TPs, and second place gets one TP for every player, that way it's comparable to PAPOUG and PAPTBG, and it hopefully makes it more enticing for new players to join us. One TP paid to BassThumper for the win, (fifty-five owed), one TPs paid to Wdleehi for the second-place score, (eight owed), and one TP paid to everyone else for playing ... thanks again to all!

The current year-to-date standings are listed below, (yards totals and QB rating totals ... thinking of using that as a bonus somehow, or alternate stat for playoff qualification), along with the Void List ... thanks! **

** Well, much like last week, the Patriots started very slowly in the first half, and then put the hammer down on offense in the second, (still a bit worried about their defense, though, and I'm not sure how deep we'll get into the playoffs with this inconsistency on the "D" side of the ball). I loved what Edelman brought to the game, and having two of the best TEs in the game at the age of 22, bodes extremely well for the future of this team. A week of bad news for me personally, but thankfully we're going to have a Celtics season after all, and that news made things a little easier to take overall. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and a safe weekend, and I hope you all stayed clear of the malls and the shopping frenzy.

As Wdleehi has come very close to winning a couple of times now, it's nice to see him pull down this week's victory, and with Tom Brady's sweet performance as the vehicle ... a sincere congratulations! We had only seven players this week, unfortunately, (I pray Bass is OK), but as usual it would be nice to recruit a few more players if we can ... especially with Christmas on the way and the weeks winding down on the regular season.
