  • Let's Go Celtics!
It is amazing how far some people will go to avoid giving the Bucks credit

Seriously. They went from 8th seed to 1st seed and had the best record in the league. Give them credit.

Our Celtics team has so far given them their only loss in the playoffs.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

The Bucks were bigger and stronger than us and they shot better.

Size and shooting wins in the playoffs.

Not small point guards.

you keep posting these myths and drivel about how small PG cannot win when THE EXACT DUDE you are bashing has done so. i have posted examples and debunked this over and over with other players names as well.  but please continue with your narrative
LET'S GO CELTICS!

If not Irving, then how about Curry? He seems to be doing just fine.

I can believe it. They whooped our ass pretty convincingly in Games 2, 3, 4, and 5 and feeding Tatum and Brown on a few more drives wouldn't have changed that. Like, yo, this team folded after losing one clucking game. The only way this team of fragile minded children could have won the championship is if they went 16-0. Let that sink in.

How do we know when this didnt happen

Maybe if Tatum or Brown go off for 30 plus... bucks defense has to actually "think"

I still can't believe that anyone is surprised by a Top 25 player (a point guard) wasn't able to carry a middling roster by himself against a 60 win team built around an MVP and a second all-star.

Celtics had the talent on paper, but their chemistry was a glaring problem all year long.

I felt the Celtics could have beaten Milwaukee if they maintained composure all 5 games, played with a sense of urgency, and shared the ball effectively. But they didn't.

The Bucks’ best player was better than our best by a healthy margin, and their second best was better than our second best by a wide margin, too.

The answer to that isn’t to jettison our best player, it’s to improve our top-end talent, pushing Kyrie down to 1A.

They didn't even have Malcolm Brogdon for the first four games of the series and the C's couldn't take advantage of that  :(

Brogdon, or Smart, or whatever role player wasn’t the issue.

Giannis > Kyrie

Middleton > Tatum (or Brown or Hayward)

Some folks seem to think the answer to that fundamental problem is trading Kyrie. Those people don’t understand the NBA game.

How you beat the Bucks:

Davis = Giannis

Kyrie > Middleton

No replies regarding these highlights

So just a fluke... last season playoffs doesnt count I guess

Why didnt Brown have a chance to do this, these playoffs?

Why was transition basketball missing this time around?
