The C's have more players under contract + picks than roster spots. No way we trade Hayward for 3 lesser players + a second rounder 3 years down the road. This is a joke of a proposal.

A couple of months ago, Bleacher Report posted a trade scenario around Embiid-Brown which wasn't even a valid trade salary-wise. At least this time they managed to come up with a valid proposal. It seems to me that these trade scenarios are just as credible as our own ideas here on CelticsStrong.
I feel as if posters here are legitimately more in touch with the NBA than B/R reporters, lol

From my point of view, the team that gives the best players loses the trade usually. 2 "half players" don't make up for 1 player (I this makes any sense  :P )

Celtics issue will be their bench at some point. I'd rather have Hayward (or Smart) as a 6th man than these role players. If you want players of this caliber, you can find some without giving up Hayward.

I still feel like Hayward is veeeeery underrated. What he brings on both ends is huge but for some reason, few ppl valeu him.

I don't want to do this trade. I'm not defending this, but I will point out that there is a reason Danny Green has been on a bunch of championship teams. I mean, some people argued that he had a more positive impact on the game than DeRozan when the Raptors made that trade.

I do also still wonder if there are some Kuzma believers in the NBA. A team like the Hornets, Wizards are Knicks would almost certainly talk themselves into a "20 ppg" scorer. The Cs could flip him to one of those teams for a playoff contributor.

Still, I'd rather keep Hayward.

I recently went through an argument with another guy who used B/R and St. Smith as credible sources ..... most frustrating 10 minutes of the year... and considering the year we've having says a lot!

Hayward's not going anywhere...he's got Unfinished Business in Boston.

Additionally - with the way he's progressing - he (and Jaylen, Jayson and Kemba) could VERY WELL constitute ANOTHER All-Star 4-peat for BOS:

Jaylen "JUST MISSED" All-Star this season. Kemba and Jayson made it. Gordon is once again approaching All-Star level...

It's a long shot as far as 4 All-Stars but I simply believe GH has more work to do in BOS.

Out of list that Roy posted I doubt ANY of those players put up the numbers that GH has, much less sniff All-Star.

Bleacher reports are less reliable than recycled toilet paper.

If God is a genuine basketball fan karma says that Gordon Hayward scores the winning basket that delivers Banner 18

Lets go Gordon, lets go Celtics !
