Okay, I'm just calling my own number again and again at this point...

A rules change to consider for 2013-14 - replace the TO category - a negative counting stat which is more often than not won by the losing team in any given match up - with the positive AST/TO ratio?

Might even more closely approximate player value, which is what I've come to prefer about counting FGM and FTM in addition to PTS.

While the rule could conceivably help our team, I'd object to any changing of categories at this point, just because people have spent years crafting their teams to certain expectations.  (Well, at least in theory.)

Agree.  We can't change things now.

So as long as we're talking trades, is my trade with Birdman official?  It never got formally announced here but it's been up and viewable for a few days.

Luke Babbitt for a 1st rounder

Did I miss something? I can't find record of this.

The Rims-Birdman multiplayer deal from earlier this week is official.

Wasn't that from last year's draft?  Wiggle traded Babbitt for a mid-1st, if I remember correctly.

I say, good for him.  That shouldn't be a vetoable trade, either.

nick and I are putting Amare, Deron, and D12 on the block, mostly because we're bored.

Come right and come strong. These aren't 14th-16th in the rotation bench players. They are stars.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Jodie Meeks and Kevin Seraphin could be yours. Come right and come strong - I don't know if you guys know a lot about basketball, but these guys are pretty good, you guys.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Nice idea, but while cutdown day is coming, I don't know if Wade's gonna be enough for Jorts.

This isn't some end of the bench guy, you guys - this is the guy who winds up sitting next to the bench because the mascot's hammertoe is acting up.

And I still say Curry isn't even as good as KG never mind all those other parts, fantasy or not.

Great. So the bets on?

That's not the type of deal that should be vetoed, either.  It's certainly not worse than Luke Babbitt for a 1st rounder, or some of the other deals we've seen in recent years.  At least Delonte is still in the league, contributing.

If we ignore actual results completely? Aka, just tell the people I was right, Roy.

Trade to announce:

Naturals trade Delonte West
Edgar trades right to swap 2012 1sts with Naturals (after Naturals exercise/decline right to swap 1sts with Utah Flash)

Delonte is a throw-in; he's not a rotation player anymore, and will probably end up cut.  Right now, he's behind Kyle Singler on my roster.

I think it's time to discuss replacing Edgar.

Though I never said veto, just that you should take some consolation in having pulled off one heist on Edgar before he quit.
