At the bar I work at one of the bartenders gave me a "kool-aid" shot.  It had vodka, amaretto, sloe gin, triple sec and cranberry juice.  I actually would make this as a drink.  It was delicious and tasted just like kool-aid.
First, you have to like kool-aid! ha ha ha ha ha ha...it must be a taste acquired in childhood, and I never acquired it.

Haha that would help! If you don't like kool-aid you wouldn't like it.
do it

True, we do have a lot of colorful drinks so far, but those are the ones that take some effort to make.  Also, some of those sweet treats put you on your butt.  Anyone ever have caribou lou? Great drink.  Pineapple, malibu and 151.  Sure it's fruity and looks like a girly drink, but anything with 151 should not be considered girly.

I can see this thread really taking off with lots of contributions from Redz, Eja and IP. ;)

I'm mostly a beer or red wine kinda guy when I drink (which isn't so often).  Although I have taken a liking to Petron Cafe (coffee tequila)...It's a lovely sippin booze.  Have you tried this Edgar?

This is true!

Patron Cafe is far too tasty to keep around the house. Dangerous!

uh oh.   I can imagine myself going down the slippery slope...I have to get me some of this "Patron Cafe" and try it for myself.   If I am never heard from again, you will know why.

I quit drinking it was bad for other people's health.  They kept ending up on the floor in a ball in the fetal position.  But the closest I ever got to a girly drink was a Kamikaze.  I too was a bartender bouncer in my college summers.

It's hard to beat Scotch on the rocks.

I am not afraid to admit that my favorite two drinks would either be a Pina Colada or a frozen mudslide... I really dont enjoy beer too much, and dont really drink all that much, but if I'm out at a bar I tend to go with a jack and ginger, jack and coke, or a cape codder.

However, Pina Coladas are definitely where its at.

I prefer a beer, any beer, but if you are serving up mixed drinks, I'll take a dirty martini, please.
