In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

there was a post about 2 time Celtics a while back, does Rick Fox qualify? He was in the deal that brought Gary Payton here, but just retired instead of playing

When I first saw this thread I was thinking "oh no, not another UNC reference!"

As for infamous turncoats, Johnny Damon going to the Yankees comes to mind first as did Lando.

sometimes you have to bite your lip, exhale and move on.  So, I have.

when neil smith left the chiefs to play for the broncos.

also, when ken norton left the cowboys to play with the 49ers.....they were unbelievable rivals at that time. of course, charles haley left the 49ers to play for the cowboys, so i guess that just made them even.

Phoebe turning on her sister when Cole is corinated as the Source was a jaw dropper. (I'm the only one getting this reference aren't I?)

Eh, i'd have to disagree. Lando's was never a betrayal of the heart; he did it because he had to balance personal loyalty with the wellness of his people. He then went on to attempt to make the best of the terrible situation.

i love how deion sanders doesn't get a mention here. I guess he's just a straight mercenary, so there's no one for him to betray.

Celtics sign KG and Ray Allen and shift from 24-win team to NBA champions.
