C - Jermaine vs McGee
PF - BBD vs Blatche - advantage Washington
SF - Green vs Mo Evans - advantage Boston
SG - V.Wafer vs Crawford - advantage Boston
PG - D.West vs J.Wall - advantage Washington

C - Krstic vs Seraphin - advantage Boston
PF - T.Murphy vs Yi - advantage Boston
SF - Pavlovic vs O.Jeffers
SG - Bradley vs L.Owens
PG - Arroyo vs M.Shakur - advantage Boston

The Celtics should win this game. Their bench isn't great but Washington's is miserable.

I think Crawford is substantially better than wafer, and shakur is somewhat better than arroyo. They might not be as familiar names, but they can both really play.

Celtics 6+ minutes without scoring and we can't even blame BBD for shooting too much.

i'm sorry, this is a joke. we are getting fouled at least 30% of the time and getting no calls whatsoever.

By the way...in case anyone has overlooked this little fact, our bench is terrible.

JaVale McGee is such a lousy basketball player ... what a waste of physical gifts.

Hopefully, he puts it together over the next year or two because it's painful to watch him waste away his career.

Jinx?

Yeah, agreed.  Crawford has been a bit inconsistent (which is to be expected), but when he's locked in he's significantly better than Wafer, in my opinion.

Not impressed with Crawford. A volume scorer. Highly inefficient. Shooting just 39.7% from the field, 24% from three, posting a TS% of 47.4%. He is also a very poor defensive player.

Shakur is a very poor third string PG. I liked him coming out of college but he has failed to make any progress since then. Pretty close to writing him altogether. There was a time when I thought he could be a quality third string PG / borderline backup guard but he has failed to come good on that.

Shakur is another ineffective offensive player. Shoots 37% from the field and has a TS% of about 40%. Turnovers galore. He also can't run an offense to save his life. And he is a poor defensive player.

Both Jordan Crawford and Mustafa Shakur do far more damage than good to their team.
