Gutsy win.

I guess we can NOW put away the pitchforks and the "Burn Coach Stevens' T-Shirts" signs.

No need to call up Rick Pitino.

We'll call Rick but then hang up! :o

No call on the Kemba tackle?

Rather Smart on the line with the game on the line.
No you wouldn’t

Maybe not a month ago, and maybe not a month from now, but right now yes.

Kemba’s game on the line confidence (due to injury recovery or any excuse you want to make) has taken two VERY bad hits recently.

Right now I’ll take Mahhcus.

Kemba is sucking bigtime.

Another almost lost game . 16 point 4th tr lead evaporates because Kemba has been abysmal and JT needs to rest.

Cant describe how I feel for this team.

We are actually not even sure of advancing past round one the way they are playing.

I think Jaylen would make all the difference when he comes back!

Frustrated by our inability to put teams away.  Still, this WAS a win against a playoff team on the road.  So at least there's that.

We need to get Kemba unstuck in the worst way.

Next 4 games are against a Giannis-less Bucks, then WAS, @CHI, NYK right before the big TOR game.

Missed the game, had to work late.

Looks like the old Gordon is slowly regaining form, but the old Kemba is not. We've got to get him back. This looks like the worst slump of his career.

And we really need the old Kanter back.

Not sure what Brad's doing in the 4th quarter, but he needs to start doing the opposite.

Smart is just as likely to shoot you out of game. If Kemba is playing up to standards Smart's role would be correctly aligned.

With all this wishing for old people are you sure you do not want old Larry Bird, Old McHale, and old Parish?

I really didnt see much problem with the gameplan in the fourth except for Walker struggling. He missed 4 shots I think and a turnover. We really need Kemba to get out of this slump. If we are to be contenders we need it.

watched on tape delay.  hot takes:
- good thing Good Gordon showed up. was huge in this game
- Kemba was very subpar -- again.  don't know if it's the knee or just a bad slump but we need early-season Kemba back.  the recent play has really exposed the fact he's not a great ball handler for a PG.
- Kanter is still a mess.  the days of double-doubles from him seem long gone.  earlier this season I thought it was a high priority to resign him this offseason.  now, I'm not so sure.
- I've had enough of the coughing up big leads.  team needs to figure out how to get back to building leads and keeping the other team from getting close.
- not sure what this new thing is with inbounding to one of our guys running back to our basket.  don't like it at all.  did we learn nothing from the OKC game?

On the upside

Pacers were 8-2 coming into the game

It was in their gym

Celtics shot well, played hard on defense and won the game

On to the next!

I'm definitely on board with Marcus on the FT line with the game on the line.

The reality is that Marcus Smart is an average 3-point shooter (35%) and a better than average FT shooter (83%).    It seems that his % goes up in crunch time though I have no idea if this is true.
