I never understood why a team competing for a title would go for a young unproven coach.  Feel bad for Griffin, but that was always a weird hire to me.

That said, as many have argued, regular season wins aren't everything.  If there's a perception in the front office that the coach isn't adding anything, it makes sense to admit the mistake and move on.

Yeah based on record alone this firing is absolutely absurd, especially when acquiring dame is largely to blame for there terrible defense this season.
Either way it’s clear he was a terrible coach so it’s a good firing.
