I know it not going to happen but if we did sign Durant, who would go to free up space and money?? Be new look roster for sure
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

I’m no cap expert, but we’re in a pretty tight spot. There’s no way could offer him max money unless Kyrie walked and we shed Hayward’s contract for nothing, I’m pretty sure
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

He should heave signed with the Celtics two years ago.  I suspect he'd be a happier person today.

Didn’t we JUST have this thread?  I’d say it’s a virtual impossibility to sign him outright.  And, it’s not the right move anyway.

In all honesty, if the Warriors were smart, they'd ditch Green and keep Durant.

Green strikes me as the type of guy who's very cocky and could crumble the Warriors dynasty.

They'd have to find a way to unload Hayward and Horford.

Highly doubtful but fun to think about. But back to reality, hell of a win last night vs the Raptors.
Easily the Celts best game so far this season.

Maybe Horford will want to remain a Celtic for more years at less money. He has only one year left. He'll never again sign a max contract. I'd be willing to add years at a reduced rate. He doesn't wow you with big number, but he plays winning ball.

Not going to happen but if it did Kyrie would probably leave.  He wants to be the #1 guy not play 2nd fiddle to Lebron or Durant.
