I'm going out to buy some food. When I get back, I expect to see a 10 point lead.

Better go to the local Moose Club and start drinking heavily.

the celtics have 10 turn overs, the nets only 3.

sloppy, sloppy play by the celtics. poor passes, dropped passes, generally uninspired play by this team.

let's see if doc can get them playing better in the second half.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Trailing at halftime, with only 34 points??? This team can't get out of its own way, or its head out of the sand.

Horrible first half Pierce is the only one playin good today hella turnovers nd missed rebounds wont get it done but I expect us to clean it up in the 2nd half, and I'm heated we traded Marshonn Brooks

Without either Pierce or Ray playing, the Celtics have looked like the reverse Patriots.  Decent to good on defense, but they can't shoot into an Olympic sized pool.

I'm concerned that the ghosts of Celtics past could haunt us tonight....hope we don't let these guys stick around.

We have been beaten by these guys before - remember 09-10 when they were like 9-50? That was a tough loss - on our home floor, too.

Don't let these guys hang around, C's!

lol...I should've shut my mouth :o.

Doc also doesn't seem to be taking the game seriously.  Confused, listless rotation.

I don't mind Rondo taking game off so much since he carries this team on other nights far more often than he should have to. Its the other starters playing down to the competition that gets to me.
KEEP. PLAYING. DEFENSE.

  • Another undersized Celtic...
Minimal effort in the 2nd qtr. No ball movement, too much iso, too many turnovers and zero effort on the boards. It seems like they took this team too lightly with Brooks, DWill and Humphries out. I expect Doc will give them the attitude adjustment in the locker room and we end up winning by 15 or so.

They haven't look good on defense.  The Nets have 2 offensive players seeing major minutes: Okur and Brooks.  Brooks got whatever he wanted and Okur missed a bunch of open looks.

Please either cut Avery Bradley or send him to the d-league.

Dude it's just a bad way right now for Avery Bradley. The Nets paid less attention to him on the perimeter than they do Rondo. I'm not sure what you're seeing Doc but this isn't working. It's 4 on 5 out there. It's time for something else. He's not ready. There's nothing else to see here.
