How about being aggressive for Boogie Cousins?  Empty out the coffers, Danny.  8)

Absolutely this.

Why would we need an athletic wing when we vcan just resign Jae Crowder? I also heard from Chad Ford on the ESPN NBA Podcast that he was disappointed in Johnson athletically, as he was not the athlete everyone thought he will be coming out if high school.

If Danny will move the picks for the earlier pick, target top 6. Be in position for Winslow, Hezonja or even Mudiay. Otherwise, use it for Boogie.

So we give up half the team, picks and hope cousins gets us into the playoffs, and past the 2nd round, when he has not been even able to carry the kings into the playoffs  once yet?

Sounds like doing that would require competing with a package centered around the #2 pick.

Celts can't hope to do that.

Other than the number 2 pick, The Lakers don't have much to offer the Kings.

They do if rumors are to believed where they are offering #2, Vucevic from ORL, and Randle

All depends if we do get in the top 10, who's left? If we can get WCS or Johnson at pick 9, I'd give up all our pics this year and a player. I'd be very hesitant to trade that Brooklyn pick or our pick next year.

I'd say swing for the fences. Try to come out with 3 of Winslow, Porzingas, WCS, and Turner. Not a fan of Johnson. What are we sitting on the.role players? Trade anyone you need to outside of Smart..

YES!

Yes we do.

Cousins is a franchise player and absolutely someone you trade for at all costs and build a team around.

Like with KLove in Minny, Sacramento's lack of success has a lot less to do with Cousins and a lot more with the team's inept players and front office management.

Yes, but LAL don't have Vucevic, Orlando does. So that would be a 3 way. Boston could also try to swing a 3 way using Orlando, and frankly to the prior post Boston has more to offer to either SAC or ORL than LAL in terms of picks.  To echo myself and others from other threads, whether Boston chooses to do so or not is another question.
Celtics fan for life.

#2, Randle and Clarkson sounds pretty darn good to me. Not ideal but it would give Sacramento some niece pieces to go along with #7. Its much better than anything the Celtics can offer.

How can a so called franchise calibre player, never make the playoffs in 5 years in the league? This is a joke right?

He played all 5 years in the western conference, that's how.

Nick Young, #27, a protected 1st rounder in 2031 and the privilege of doing business with the Lakers. Duh.

I think Boston has more than enough assets to compete in a sweepstakes if Cousins goes up for bid. If you were rebuilding a team, that one #2 pick is nice. But your gonna generate high picks by virtue of losing for the first few years. Without DMC that could be one of the worst 3 teams next year. If Boston offers you a couple good, young players and a bunch of draft picks including one or two that seem like locks for the top 10 themselves, which helps your rebuild more? If Kevin Durant is #2, Durant does. But I really don't think Okafor or Russell is that kind of transcendent player. For a rebuild you'd rather have the young guys and the picks.

Randle barely played a game before getting hurt and It's soon to tell whether or nor Clarkson is the best player on an awful team.

Cousins has yet to be on a 30-win team.  Love at least got to 40 wins on a team that would have made the playoffs in the East.
