The Phoenix Suns are acquiring star forward Kevin Durant in a blockbuster trade with the Brooklyn Nets, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Suns are sending Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, four first-round picks and a 2028 pick swap to Brooklyn, according to sources.

Phoenix is also getting T.J. Warren in the deal, sources said.

I think BKN are now 22-1 to win the chip, from being second favorites prior to KD's injury. PHX and DAL 19-1 and 15-1 on FanDuel.

Four first rounders for KD...Ishbia wants a chip. I wonder if we will see Cryrie there next year. What's their cap space looking like?

I can't find NBA Finals odds on FanDuel now. This trade really changed everything.

BKN In: Four unprotected first-round picks (2023, 2025, 2027, 2029), 2028 PHX 1st swap, Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder

PHX In: KD, TJ Warren

Nets reportedly fielding calls for Crowder, so add another pick to the haul in all likelihood.

Commentary on this huge movement of KD and Kyrie into the West (TBD on whether Kyrie eventually lands on the Lakers in exchange for D’Angelo Russell in the off-season):

What a haul for the Nets and the Suns did it without giving up Ayton, meaning they (unlike us) have a legit Big 3 with CP3 as their PG version of Horford. Hopefully Kawhi demands out of LA in the off-season because, as good as he is, his supporting cast is not good enough to get past Phoenix and us to win his next title. My bet: Mr. New Balance is a Celtic at some point in the summer.

Looks like the balance of power has been restored between the two conferences now. In a flurry of moves, Kyrie to DAL and KD to PHX...significantly making them better this season. It used to be stacked in the East.

Glad those guys left for the West. Now we need Jimmy Butler to get out of the East too  ;D

Wow!  This is exciting.  It will be interesting to see the Suns after this.  I don’t like this trade for them though as Durant and Paul are old and breaking down.  Those four picks could help rebuild the Nets like the their picks helped us.

I’m kind of relieved to know that Durant is off the table for us now or after the season.  I didn’t want to lose Brown and more for him.  Durant keeps getting hurt and is due about $150 million for the next three seasons.

I do hope this means we can get Crowder after he’s bought out or TJ Warren in a mini trade.

Good haul for KD. Nets will fight for playoffs and get four 1st.
I'd run Din, Bridges, DFS, Cam, and Simmons as Starters.  Just run teams out.

I never thought the Harden, Irving, Durant trio would be successful, but its failure is even greater than I would have predicted.

I am glad we did not trade for him.   The West got a lot a tougher.  CP and him will be a a tough out.

Given all the movement, it is looking more like we doing nothing.   Or smaller move  with Mo Bamba or the like
