Jabari Parker Headlines List of Young Additions for LeprechaunsBELLEVUE, WA - Leprechauns GM, LarBrd33, worked tirelessly for this moment. After months of endless maneuvering (6 trades spilling into the offseason), he and the team finally reached their end goal Wednesday afternoon during the long-awaited CBPL Draft. With 4 of the top 6 picks, Bellevue came away with standouts Jabari Parker, Marcus Smart, the (currently injured) Joel Embiid, and raw Australian phenom Dante Exum. Those four will be joined by rookie Nerlens Noel, who sat out last season with an injury. It's an impressive crop of young talent that LarBrd33 hopes to build around. "I like how our draft went", said LarBrd33. "We had a rough idea of how the top 4 were going to shake out. We were very pleased to see Smart still available at #6. That's who we were targeting when we traded for that pick. I think Aaron Gordon and Julius Randle both could go on to make me look foolish, but we took who we felt were the best available players. I wouldn't say our work is done. We're still a very young team and likely the worst in the league, but I feel our future is bright. There's still trades to be made. There's no guarantee these guys will be here next year, but at the moment we are happy with our current position and hope to build around these guys in addition to the young exciting sophomores we already have here... Otto Porter Jr, Anthony Bennett, Shabazz Muhammad, Ben Mclemore, Alex Len, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. As a fan of the game, I'm excited to see which of these young fellas takes the leap and threatens mainstay Gerald Wallace for Team Captain."
