Looks like I am the only one supporting England ;D

I' like to know what the coach said in half time and Croatia transformed like that
Felt like England got into the half and it settled in that they were 45 minutes away. They started playing passive, one eye on the clock type soccer. You saw it from like the 50th minute.

Croatia on the other hand, got just enough going late first half that they came into the half with that perfect mix of desperation and little confidence. Pushed the wings up, played with high intensity and a clear sense of urgency and slowly began to boss the game.

Perisec has been driving the excitement, but man Modric is such a steadying hand and an elite player.

Every Brit I know, including my Dad, will be insufferable if England win the World Cup.

Come on Croatia  :P
You won't even support your dad's nation???

I won't complain tho. Hoping Croatia pulls this off.

Was sort of tongue in cheek. I've always sided with them in tournaments in the past. It's just now that they've gotten this close I've really contemplated what it would be like and the thought of people like Piers Morgan gloating is very unpalatable to me.

Completely get it. I know some Brits who will be unbearable as well.

Croatia has been the best team in this tournament.  Not much else need to be said.  They have beaten everyone in front of them, including a decently tough group with Argentina, Iceland, and Nigeria.  They beat 12th ranked Denmark (which tied France) and then the home team Russia in knockout before today.  They have been consistently good on both sides of the ball and clearly have no problem winning games that go into extra time.  They are battle tested and tough.  I picked France before the semis, but I now think I'm going with Croatia.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
