Not sure either team can score enough to beat Boston 4 times
Yeah neither team super impressive so far. If Allen remains out for the Cavs I think I would probably want them vs the Magic. If Allen is back it is a toss up to me. I have no idea who to root for.
Yeah, if J Allen is out. That negates the loss of Porzingis.
Makes BOS the overwhelming favourite again.
Boston was already the overwhelming favorite.
If that Cavs team is fully healthy I would call Boston solid favorites. Not overwhelming. But C's should still easily beat them in 5 or 6, if it goes 7 something went wrong or they got in their own way.
I see BOS as favourites as reasonable. I am bit lower than that and consider it closer to neutral but to see BOS as a favourite is fine.
To view them as overwhelming favourites without Porzingis is over-rating this team. I am fine with BOS as overwhelming favourites with Porzingis. I agree with that point of view. Not without.
Tatum is BY FAR the best player in the series. Brown might very well be the 2nd best player. He and Mitchell are at least on a similar tier. Garland is 4th, though is inconsistent. White, Holiday, and Mobley are all on a similar tier at this point. Mobley certainly has the highest ceiling, but he often just disappears for large portions of a game. Boston is a significantly better team than Cleveland. That is why Vegas has the odds the way they do. I suspect if Boston meets up with Denver, Denver will be favored, it is just Denver has a much more difficult path with Minnesota and then OKC, Dallas, or LAC. The 5 teams remaining in the west are all better than the Knicks who are pretty clearly the 2nd best team left in the east.
