  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
According to David Aldridge Isaiah Thomas will be waived. Should the Celtics bring him home?

I’d take him back in a second.

Surprised the Clippers won’t keep him, even if just for injury.

I'd do it.

People can talk about his defense but with IT we're simply looking for a bench scorer. It's not like he'd come back here and be some 35+ MPG starter. Guy can still put up 10-12 PPG off the bench in 15-20 MPG. And we need someone like that unless you're convinced Wanamaker and others can keep it going.

And I'm sure CBS can find ways to mask IT's defensive deficiencies for the time he's on the court.

I’d be on board.  I don’t think he’d be a regular in the rotation, but we’ve had so many injuries that we could use another body at his position.  He’s much more likely to be instrumental in a playoff win than JaVonte Green is.

I'm for bringing him back, but I find a lot of comedic value in the narrative being that we need a big man and our solution is to bring in the smallest player in the league as our only move.  Talk about being contrarian! :o

Poor guy, not sure who will take a chance on him.

I would be up for it, but not at the expense of us not getting big man depth.

Thanks, but no thanks.

I don't think we need another scorer. We already have enough firepower in Kemba/Brown/Hayward/Tatum/Kanter (+Edwards). At least one of these guys is always on the court.

IT is possibly the worst defender in the NBA. In order for him to be a net positive on offense-defense, he needs the whole team to be built around him.

I guess the C's might have a use for a shooter instead of a scorer (a guy who's happy to play off the ball). That's not who IT is.

Coming from "Rondo fan"  :P

Rondo sucks now, my username is from Feb 2008

IT offense is not close to what it was IMO, to offset Def

I'd like to see him on a bottom feeder that actually focuses on him on the offensive end again. Then he could get a final big contract.

Not sure who that could be.
