The Knicks don't stand a chance when the refs are playing for Miami which in turn makes them unable to play physical basketball with them. Mine Woodson needs to call the refs out on this. Get fined but make a statement because this is unacceptable.

The Knicks can't be so mentally weak to let the refs completely take them out of a game with two or three calls.

The Refs also didn't cause the 20+ turnovers due to awful offense by the Knicks. Terrible showing by the Knicks.

it does seem like they packed it in and didnt show resolve after the bad calls...

we'll have to see how they respond in game 2. can they rebound from this pathetic effort?

Well if Shumpert is out like I fear it is I doubt it. The Knicks were already dangerously thin at the guard position.

Heck even having Jeffries be clearly hobbled has killed their rotations.

This NY team is rediculous. No game plan, no system. Like '5 Nick Young' on the court playing basketball. They don't deserve to be in the playoff.

What a tough loss to watch.

If the Celtics win or lose, I at least want them to go out fighting giving it everything they have. The Knicks just downright quit, they quit and they are a dumb basketball team.

Celtics have far too much pride to go out like the Knicks did tonight.

I was about to post similar in the "NY Miami game" thread... I get that the refs were HORRIBLE but you can't tell me NYK didn't give up! I mean, no one said you had to win this terribly officiated game but don't tell me your team is so bad you get beaten like this! This is the playoffs, I would be made at my team if they lost like this... at least give your max effort until it's over! Mia over there chuckling on their bench, they don't take you serious, be men and say, "you and the refs may have won the game but you're leaving the court knowing this series aint over b/c I never give up!"
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

They have confirmed via MRI that his left ACL was torn, he's done.

WOW.

Doesn't make our road much easier...must get by ATL, first.

If we can do that, things get more interesting. CHI's still a very good team without him, but.....

Yes it does, we still must beat the Hawks but losing Rose makes the Bulls a far easier team to defend.

CHI played us well without DRose in the regular season. I, like you, expect BOS to pick it up in the post-season, though.

Hopefully, BOS will take Game 1 tomorrow night and close out ATL early, then move on to CHI (or PHI).

We are due for some good fortune, Lord knows.
