Manchester United fans: where uneducated arrogance and lack of civility happens.

Both sides should stop with the personal attacks.  This time, it's a formal warning.

I´m just glad that Ronaldo, this pathetic fool with his moronic grin didn´t win it again. He´s truly the Kobe Bryant of soccer.

See, I just insulted ManU and the portuguese at once.  ;D
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

The only problem I have is being called pathetic, cheap, etc. merely because I committed the crime of criticising Manchester United.

Obviously, the mod didn't feel that was enough for a formal warning. Calling out that lack of civility is.

LOL

I'm Portuguese by birth, Portista by the grace of God.

And Kobe knows grammar rules and can actually read.

For the record, I called your post cheap and pathetic. Not you.

Both Edgar and myself told people to cool their tempers and to move on.  You then decided to continue making personal attacks after that admonition.  That resulted in a warning to both sides.

If you have a problem with our rules -- which you have repeatedly indicated that you do -- you're welcome to find another Celtics blog.

Is that a joke about my lack of proper grammar or Ronaldo`s reading comprehension?

Your grammar isn't proper? I'm not the best person to evaluate grammar skills in the English language. But of course I was talking about Kobe's superior literacy skills relatively to Ronaldo (no offense meant to those who are unable to read and write due to lack of opportunity to learn it).

Well, if Porto ever get to play in another game of this magnitude

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'm trying to watch the Lakers game and I keep laughing with this one.

What? Calling a fan base arrogant is a personal attack? LOL. I hope it's only applicable to football clubs fanbases...

To celticmaestro and cordobes:

Would you please stop doing what you're doing?
It's obvious you won't ever agree on this point.
Let it go. I admire and respect both your posts
and the insight you bring and you are both too
good for this kind of bickering. Seriously, now.

To Casperian:
At least Ronaldo's not a rapist.

As for the game, I will say Man Utd played kind
of poorly. Once Barca had the lead, their passes
were flowing and there wasn't much Man Utd could
do on a bad day. Congrats to Barca and its fans
and especially Edgar, since he loves them so much.
FCB were the better team and they deserved the
win but we'll be back. Count on it.

See, I have the same problem, which is my best indicator as to why my english isn´t correct.

Btw, I have nothing against the portuguese (as you´ve certainly guessed, I just thought I should make it clear), but I really can´t stand Ronaldo. When it comes down to Messi/Ronaldo, I´m a Messi-guy. So, the result was what I´ve hoped for (Sorry, Roy and maestro).

The game was surprisingly good, given the history of CL finals (except for the Liverpool/Milan and Bayern/ManU games). Barca was the deserved winner, they´ve controlled the game for 70 minutes. Still, their triumph will always be tainted in my book, considering all the questionable calls in the second leg of the Chelsea series.

Believe me, I´m the last person who wants to defend Kobe Bryant, but he´s still innocent until proven guilty...

Nahh, who am I kidding? You´re absolutely right!  ;D

cordobes is talking about Ronaldo's
grammar and reading skills, not yours.
Which look fine to me, btw.
