  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Worked.

Took work trips to Las Vegas, Philly, Oklahoma City, and Nashville.  Presented studies on teacher satisfaction and special needs scholarship programs at most of these.

Took personal trips to Pittsburgh, Rhode Island, Dallas, and Austin.  Drank and ate things that I shouldn't be eating at most of these.

Won an MMA fight in IN.

Dropped down a weight class and won another MMA fight in TX.

Published a national study on parental satisfaction with tax-credit scholarships in Florida.

Wrote another study documenting the social costs of dropouts in the state of Tennessee.

Moved to a new apartment.

Spent time constructing a fantasy basketball team that, much like the work of Edgar Allen Poe, will only be fully appreciated once time has passed me by and left me dying in a gutter.

CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

I spent my summer building a kickass fake team with Edgar.  Vote Portland!

I've also been up to Maine and New Hampshire a few times, went into Philly and NYC, and will be going down to DC in a couple of weeks.

broke my right ankle and tore ligaments back at the end of may, underwent surgery, and was out of commission until the beginning of August! surprisingly though, it ended up being one of the best summers i've had in a long time, i relearned how to enjoy the little things in life, and i'm far ahead of schedule!

in other words, i spent my summer vacation checking celticsblog, redsarmy, and realgm more times than i can count each day... :D

(pictures of the results of the injury are attached for whoever wants to cringe haha...)

Summer vacation?  Every day is summer vacation.   (he he he he)
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift...
That is why it is called the present.

Summer vacation?? Whats that?

I take vacations in September and October when nobody else travels and just before the Celtics start. This year I plan on going to Boston in a month.

My summers are spent working, doing honey do lists (lord knows not much gets done around the house between October and late May/early June), listening to the Red Sox on I-net radio, playing golf.
Wins are few, times are hard. Here is your bleeping St Patricks Day Card.

I'd buy that.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
