Just returned from a deployment in Afghanistan several weeks ago.
Since I have been back, we have taken trips to Venice and Verona.
Other than that, just spending time with the fam.
Plan on going to UK next month to see the rest of my family.

- Hit the gym almost everyday.
- Made a couple of hip hop beats that were used by a local artist.
- Was an usher in a friends wedding.
- Vacationed in Florida with my wife and randomly (and briefly) met Mike Epps.
- Hit Saco River and camped out.
- Joined a Softball league (hitting .391)
- Played a lot of pickup ball
- Striper fishing in Gloucester a bunch of times
- Rented out my condo and moved to my parents downstairs apartment :o but we're saving almost a G a month and buying a house soon. ;)
- Woburn Batting cages weekly
- Went to a gay couple's wedding (that was a first and interesting.)

do you mind if I ask which artist, there's a few locally that I really like

and

it seems like everyone does the Saco (myself included) strange how popular it is

- Worked
- Spent time with family
- Spent time on CB
- Repeat
“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

I've worked with Minus from all over MA, MK1 of Billerica and the former lead singer of Lucky Caderra. Nothing too crazy. Making music and sampling is just a hobby at the moment. I'll keep you posted when things are up.

Cool thread idea.

Went to Cedar Point in Ohio (best rollercoaster park ever. one of the days was forecasted for rain all day and we woke up and it was clear skies. worked out great because we practically had the park to ourselves)

Played in a softball league with my father, brother, cousin, and uncles. Very cool and a season I'll probably remember forever.

Played in a bball league and made it to the championship game after losing our first 3 or 4 games.

Sox/yanks last night. cool atmosphere, but they seriously need a new stadium. my neck is on fire because our seats were pointed towards the RF.

Moving to NYC next week so it was my last summer in Boston for a few years probably. That's why the leagues with my family were so special.

Mostly worked.

Did several repair/upgrade projects around the house.

Went to some yard sales and flea markets.

Had a yard sale.

Took a week to visit colleges with the Fat Kid.

Spent a nice weekend in Kennebunkport with the Fat Kid's Mom.

To repeat a story I wrote on the "Where did your user name come from" thread:

My son, whose picture is at left, used to make a lot of dancing appearances on the Jumbotron. He is still often recognized on the T and in the Garden lobby.  Several years ago, when I was a reader but not a member of CB, he was amused at a post here where someone wrote that the best thing on the Jumbotron was "that fat kid who dances in the tunnel".

Later, when I joined CB and needed a user name, I became FatKidsDad in honor of that designation.

For the record, he's pretty big, but not really fat.

The Fat Kid's Mom, of course, would be my wife.

Nice, if you ever get a chance, I suggest F1 boston.  they give you the full racing suits and everything and I got the Gokart up to 45 miles an hour, so that was pretty sick.
