Hahaha.  Funny story.

My avatar is indeed Professor X from the x-men.  Works on a lot of different levels for me:
1.  He's one of my favorite comic book characters
2.  When I typed the word 'Professor' into a google image search he was one of the first to come up
3.  I'm a HUGE star trek TNG fan and have always been in love with Captain Picard, and then Patrick Stewart turned out to be Professor X in the movies (which i'm not exactly in love with.)
4.  The picture just kind of has that feeling like I'm willing my opinion on to you, a perfect weapon in the daily celticsblog world.

If it makes you feel any better I think there's a poster called something like Celticsgal or with like 4 posts and a decent avatar. I was tempted to pm her and say "That's not really you, right?" Granted I can't be sure it's actually a her
