Game Notes:
The Celtics broke their 4 game losing streak with a win against these Raptors in Toronto and now want to start a new win streak against the same team.

The Celtics were in charge much of the game in Toronto, but as they have done recently, they let up in the 4th quarter and allowed the Raptors to come back to within 5 but this time, the Celtics held on for the win.   The Raptors are going to look to try the matchups and strategies that were successful late in the game and try to get them to work in this one.

X-Factor
Home Court
Both teams had to travel and both are playing in the second of back to back games.  Both teams have some momentum considering the Celtics won the game, but the Raptors came back from 20 points down to cut the lead to 5 down the stretch.    The Celtics are at home and that could be the difference in this game.

I hope Walker gets minutes-- it'd just be exciting to watch and see how he performs. Maybe he cocks back and bangs one on Bosh. That would be ill.

I really miss watching athletic swingmen.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I would love it if Walker is active tonight and get a few spot minutes.   Paul needs to get some rest and this might be a good game for him to do so with what I believe Calderon and Oneal not playing for Toronto.

I know what you mean man.

Hopefully Walker makes a good enough impression to stick around.

That would definitely make my day.

...Celtics win, Walker Sky Walks all over Bosh. ;D

Anyone notice that 30-9 is a really, really good record?

Even losing 7 of the last 10 hasn't pushed us to double digit losses, and we're almost halfway through the season.

Celtics rule.

article on hoopsvibe with some comments, shows what people were saying about Bill Walker prior to injuring himself during scout sessions.

cheers.

Leading up to the Lakers game, our schedule isn't that tough. Mon 12    vs Toronto
 Wed 14    vs New Jersey
 Sat 17    @ New Jersey
 Mon 19    vs Phoenix
 Wed 21    @ Miami
 Thu 22    @ Orlando
 Sun 25    vs Dallas
 Wed 28    vs Sacramento
 Fri 30    @ Detroit
February
 Sun 01    vs Minnesota
 Tue 03    @ Philadelphia
 Thu 05    vs LA Lakers

Bold = Tough

italics = we better show up, or we could lose

If we perform the way we are capable of performing, we could go 10 and 3 pretty easily, I think, which would put our record at

40-12. Not bad.

I really hate the nba tv games.  I can't see any of the graphics that Tommy and Mike talk about.
