Sources: Milwaukee has waived guard Gerald Green. The 10-year veteran reenters free agency before season starts this week.

Anyone else have a strange feeling that the cavs will sign him with one of those new trade exceptions? Idk how those work to be honest lol

Miami needs a 3. He or RJ will end up there.

Yeah, not remotely how it works at all.

And no, the Cavs will not sign him, because doing so would cost them $6 million in luxury tax dollars.  Would you sign Gerald Green for over $7 million to be your 15th man?

As much as I'd love to see Green in a Celtics' uniform again, there's no need for him this year.  If we're going to fill the last roster spot before the season starts, then it needs to be with a vet big
I'm bitter.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
THere is never a time in the last 10 years that I thought, "This team doesn't need Gerald Green."

Just sayin.

Gotta bring him back. Love Green.

What a sad night. It's all about pulling for a full recovery and developing the youngIns. Get well Gordie!

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Yep. We could use the shooting and the fearlessness that Gerald can offer on the offensive end.
