Niang got 3yrs $26mil. That is too much money.

Niang is a 9th man. Why are you paying your 9th man so much money? He isn't good enough to play a bigger role on a contender. Too vulnerable on D.

Lillard is the reason they signed him for that much. He has that whole franchise hostage.

Houston has been awfully quiet for how much buzz they were getting. Assume they're working on getting VanFleet?

What a waste of money Max Strus. 4yrs $64mil.

They don't even have a starting spot to offer him. That is Donovan Mitchell's position. I am guessing they want Strus as a 6th man as a big guard to play alongside either D Mitchell or D Garland while the other one rests.

it sounds like Minny have signed Troy Brown from LA to replace Taureen Green who signed with LA. So two teams swapping bench forwards.

Which player do you guys like better? I am not sure LAL got the better of this one.

Sounds like T Prince got the bi-annual exception. The $4.5mil 1yr deal.

Odd how one of the first pieces of news to come out to day was Saric going to the Warriors, yet it still hasn't happened yet.

Free agent guard Gabe Vincent has agreed on a three-year, $33 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Vincent’s agent, Bill Neff, negotiated the new deal for a tremendous undrafted success story.

The Boston Celtics have met with unrestricted free agent Dalano Banton  this evening

Whom?

6’7 wing from Toronto

He’s 2-way eligible, so I’m going to hope that’s the extent of their conversation.

He has some talent and can actually play the point. I thought he was going to get backup minutes to start the season last year for Toronto, but kind of tailed off. If he can put it together gives nice depth at the guard and wing spots.

Mostly see 6’7” and 204. But Reference.com has him 6’9” and 204 - at PG. 23 years old. Let Phil Pressey and Sam Cassel turn him into Magic Johnson.

Interesting that Phoenix went after two young guys rather than experienced veterans. Keith Bates Diop and Drew Eubanks. Diop sounds interesting for their team. I don't think Eubanks is ready for a rotation role on a title contender.

Well, that’s interesting to use the MLE on. They bringing Russell back, too, or planning on him as starter?

Miami getting devastated of key players.

Miami getting picked to the bone. Vincent gone, Strus about to be gone, and Love possibly gone.

Good fit next to LeBron. Good defender.

Better option than D Russell as starting PG given G Vincent's defense. I expect they'll still re-sign Russell so this mean Schroder is the odd man out? Poor lad.
