We always talk so negative about our
picks
Romeo will be super fine scoring over 15p in 2 years.. Bradley had less talent than him..

I can bet my wife that Romeo ain't scoring 15ppg in 3 yrs never mind 2...He is a Giddens clone.

I'm not skilled at troll-identification, but I think you may be trolling.  You've bet your wife and misnamed Javonte Green, and I have doubt you know much about Romeo.  Anyone can surmise that his thumb may be a sign of things to come, but speculation really should be about skills and potential for a guy who turned 20 three weeks ago.  Played 4 years in HS and played through the injury in college. No real need to predict bad things.

Do you guys think Brad should trap Luka? The rest of the Mavs don't worry me much including Porzingis.

Although now watch Tim Hardaway Jr. play like his old man tonight because I said that.

Hayward has embarassed him these past few games so he is picking on another player. I dunno if there's any reason to take him seriously.

No, Luka will find the open man in a trap, and the Mavs will take an advantage.  Maybe you do it once or twice in the middle of the game if you think you see something, but no more than as a surprise tactic to get him a little off balance.

I’m looking forward to both Jaylen and Marcus matching up with him on defense.  Will be a good test for both sides.

Agreed. We have two guys perhaps better suited than anyone else in the league to cover this guy. Plus, we can switch better against him than almost any other team. Too bad Gordon won't be on the floor, but it will be a major test for Luka, and us too, I guess.

For purely selfish, fantasy basketball related purposes, it'd be nice to see him go off tonight while the Celtics win by 15+.  ;)

Ahhhhh....the dreaded "I Want To See My Team Crush This Other Team And Player But Need That Other Team's Player For Fantasy Purposes" conundrum. I get it.

Injuries
Romeo Langford (llness) probable

Okay listed as probable, but still are you kidding me?  This kid can't catch a break.

Misses summer league with a thumb injury.

Injured his groin in training camp.

Injured his knee in pre-season (after seeing only limited minutes in 2 games).

Gets sent to G-League, which could be a little embarrassing for a lottery pick, but kills it it his first game there (27 points, 6 blocks, 5 rebounds).

Hayward gets injured, opening up a roster spot for him on the main roster.

And then he gets sick?

The basketball gods have not been smiling on Romeo.

Romeo is as brittle as Mr. Glass....BUSTS is written all over him. Devonte Green is way ahead of him in the depth chart.
We don’t have a Devonte Green and 8 games seems a bit early to proclaim a 19 year old rookie a bust

Especially since he hasn't played more than a minute in an NBA game yet!

A big reason why I don't do fantasy sports, especially with basketball. To some degree I think it can take the fun out of the game if you have conflicted interests.
