Let's finish the preseason with a perfect record.
Might be tricky with no starters, but it is the Cavs team that we just belted by 50

I plan to watch, but not sure why.  I don't expect to learn much about the bench, win or lose.

Why is rest given a priority in the pre-season?

game thread!!!!! thanks flc and a tp as ever. you do a great job and make the games so much more fun.

next.....i just noticed the neck ink by TL and it is truly butt ugly. that was a bad and potentially permanent decision he should have talked about with others first. but, it's his neck.  :P

regardless of ugly necks..... gooooooooooooooooooooooo celtics!!!!  ;D

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

So who's going to lead us in scoring tonight?

I'm going with Carsen Edwards.

It does seem odd since our next game is 8 days away.  But I guess its better to rest players during games that don't matter rather than during the season?  Maybe Brad wants to get some good practices in?  I think that would be a more valuable use of effort than a preseason game against these scrubs.

I think it's mostly giving exposure to the guys likely to get cut, as this may be the last chance for any NBA exposure for a while for most of them. Any chance to show their stuff may get them another opportunity somewhere else.

Carsen   24 pts
Waters 15 pts
Grant.   12 pts
Time lord  12
Tacko      6 pts

I wish Langford was playing , on think he could get 10 + against this crowd of G leaguers

Yup.  I thought about this possibility after I posted.  Many will be gone after this game, including two-way players.

It's a nice thing for Brad to do, which should hopefully encourage more players to try out for us in training camp in future.

Love’s elbow is now Public Enemy #1.

So now we know why the starters rested. After that embarrassing loss on Sunday the elbows are flying and Celts are getting hurt.

A couple of weeks ago I would have happily traded Brown for Love, money and salary cap issues aside.  Now, no way. Brown is opening my eyes.
