I assume lakers want to keep Ingram as the centerpiece of an Anthony Davis trade

yup....this is what Im hearing ,  Magic is not going after Gasol or Connelly , two players that would help him now , but uses cap space and don't push th needle enough. although Gasol doesn't fit the present Lakers style of fast pace ball .   He wants Davis and or Leonard first and formost .   I think he ll sign Boogie if he gets Leonard .    I just don't see Klay leaving Curry and GS ...he loves his teamates and the whole organization .   I m skeptical of Durrant wanting to be on the same team with Lebron .Lebron doesn't share the glory like Curry and Klay .  Durrant would be second fiddle in the pecking order.  Lebron is the head of state where ever he plays . end of story .

Brandon Ingram will never live up to the expectations of a #2 pick.

He's a bust IMO.

Jaylen Brown is better than Ingram.

I wouldn't call him a bust, but Brown is definitely better. As are Murray and Sabonis.

The #1 and #2 picks are supposed to be All-Star players.
They're supposed to be the best and second best players in the draft class.

Right now Ingram is just a role player.
He's not close to becoming an All-Star.

Brandon Ingram's body is just too thin for the NBA.
He can score because he's a smart player.
But when you see him drive to the basket and he gets bumped, he loses his balance and ends up missing on the drive to the basket or he ends up passing the ball.

The fakers would never do this trade, but I would love to see him on the C's. He's being horribly misused like most of Lebron's lackeys over the years. Ingram's game is rather unique compared to the other wings on our team: a 6'9 slasher that can function as a secondary playmaker, and is a pretty good defender with potential to be better. I would love to see him operate with the amount of space our offense provides.
