Kobe's 2 threes . . . how many Spurs just thought "not again?"

The Lakers don't defend well enough to beat either us or Detroit.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

I agree ... if we get to the Finals and it's against the Lakers, I think we'll be fine. I'd actually be a bit more worried to play the Spurs, just because they're more defensively oriented like us ... I still think we'd win, but I'd expect the latter series to go the distance. Good win for SA tonight ... looks like we've got a series here.

The Lakers got some homecooking from the refs in the 4th qtr of Game1. They may have thought I hope the refs don't assist the Lakers again.

I don't think Pop wanted the Lakers to get off to another quick start ... man, the Spurs remind me of the C's in how up-and-down they can be from game-to-game! San An not looking great here ... way off the mark right now.

I think it's time to change "Big-Shot Bob"'s nick-name ... man, he looks like Ray lately! (Big-Gaff Bob? Big-Brick Bob? Air-Shot Bob?)

This game looks almost exactly like last night's game ... with the Spurs playing the part of the C's, obviously!

Once you get past the Spurs trio they're a very limited offensive team.

Look at the Lakers team after Kobe/Gasol/Odom ..... Derek Fisher/Jordan Farmer/Radmanovic/Walton are all better than the Spurs next fourth scoring option. You could make a good case for Sasha Vujacic being on that Lakers list too.

Spurs need 75-90 points from their three best players to beat a good Lakers performance. Tough ask.

Looked like Duncan was practicing for a triple-jump there ... man, Timmy gets away with sooooo much! (And with Joey reffing, too!)

Is it safe to say the Lakers are the team to beat out of this final four?  I'd say yes.  Not saying that they're going to take this team, but at this point and time they have been the most impressive throughout the playoffs.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Kobe getting quite a rest here, and the Lakers still up by 9! Odom with 3 fouls, though. Spurs aren't attacking enough.

The parallels tonight to last night's game are bizarre ... very similar feel and changes of momentum. The Spurs attacking more, and getting rewarded for it.

Rondo should really imitate Tony Parker in getting on the break after a defensive board. Like Parker he can just turn on the jets and beat everyone else down the floor.
