the difference between Hollins and Steimsma has been very apparent this game.  Steimsma was grabbing rebounds, scored and playing decent D.  Hollins, none of the above.

Which is why I still don't understand how we can give minutes to a guy that Cleveland didn't even want..
Take me where the Boston Celtics fans roam free without judgment from my enemies.

Stiemsma scored on the most open put-back of the night, and almost single-handedly put Miami in the bonus in 3 minutes of play.

Triple Double watch:

Rondo 18 pts, 7 assists, 4 rebounds  (1 steal)
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

2nd half heat will come with wrath. Celtics have to keep what they are doing now. Rondo has to keep pushing. He needs to score 40 today

Rondo is the man.
and yet there'll be a resumption of the 'trade Rondo' threads after the game   :(

What is it with this teams inability to make layups?

And if the Cs defended the 3 better in this half, this would be a blowout right now.

But then again, if this was a blowout, there's a decent chance we would blow the lead anyway.

Spoken like a victim of this season.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Rondo's aggressiveness is the biggest reason we are winning.  Next is our defense.  But we need our defense to really enable a hard push by Rondo.

I hope in the 2nd half Rondo attacks like there's no tomorrow.

Very incredible play by Rondo so far, but the biggest surprise, I have to say, is Ray. He's really looking sharp out there today. I like :o

  • It's all about the TEAM!
I hate Ryan Hollins. Worst player in the nba.
He'd be a star in Charlotte.  ;)

That used to talk reserved for our good buddy Dooling.

at the very least this should to prove to all of us that this team has the ability to win this series, they just need consistency

I would love to see Sean Williams get Hollins' minutes. He can't be worse.

Hollins best asset is that he is good Pick-N-Roll player. Stiemsma struggles with that play

the refs call fouls on him for breathing so I take that bonus issue with a grain of salt.

as for the putback, it's better than Hollins has done.  Steimsma has good hands and can score.  Hollins, nothing other than a lob for a dunk.
