Steve Kerr stated that DeMarcus Cousins is still on schedule to make  season debut this Friday against the Los Angeles Clippers.

There were rumors that Cousins could come back as early as Wednesday against the Pelicans, though that is unlikely now.

Cousins will be in the starting lineup upon his return.

"Same person. I play with a chip on my shoulder. I use different things as fuel to keep me moving forward. I'm going to use the same things. I'm looking forward to proving myself on the floor," said Cousins last week

This either blow up in their face a la Dwight in LA, or it could make them quite legitimately unstoppable.

Not a big risk.  If it doesn't work out, they don't have to play him.  They could even trade him or buy him out if he causes problems.

No matter what this is just in no way fair.  I will def be rooting against them.  I don't really like to because I used to like the GSW.  But ever since they got Durant they just seem more whiny and entitled.

they added Durant and Cousins to a 73 win team. They have a finals MVP iguadala coming off the bench... For the comparison ... This would be like adding prime shaq and prime Tracy McGrady  to the 08 champion Celtics team for the rerun, aND having pierce come off the bench. Actually the warriors would still be unfair cuz they were a 73 win team unlike that Celtics team!

Thanks silver for the fair competition !
