I don't think you rush to spend money this off season on long term deals.

Will we have money in the future after giving Brown and Tatum extensions? I think we might have to use the money now up to the cap, then go over when we do those extensions.

THIS. Sign several guys to a 1 or 2 year deal so they have max money in 2021 for hopefully 2 FA in a loaded class. Do not tie up long term money

I'll take the last option to go and the check, please.
Now that you're embracing the tank I'm happy to tell you that IMO Anthony Edwards is a very legit NBA prospect ;D

Next Oladipo, and you heard it here first!

Can I ask who is Bryant? Kobe coming out of retirement?

yes you can ask, and I will answer.

Thomas Bryant out of Washington. He is my Binkie.

21 year old second round pick.
6'11 tall
7'6 wingspan
9'4.5 standing reach

99th percentile of ALL combine measurement ever.

great bounce, great motor, very nicely developing shot, still learning the game a bit but showing great improvements. Tools to be a great defender

I recognize the name now but did he play last year? For who? I don't recall anything about him and although he is your binkie, can he actually play?

Would add another option. Let  the young players grow for 2 years, sign short term deals to fill our team out and then try again in 21 free agency. Also, keep eye out for the sure to be disgruntled stars who start demanding they want off their teams.

The best way for our youth to grow is to let them play. Now is a perfect time for that.

This is largely correct.  It depends a bit on whether the J’s are extended before their 4th season or signed as restricted free agents, but even then their cap holds (particularly Tatum’s in two summers when Jaylen will be on his second contract) be significant enough to likely foreclose a max opportunity.

He averaged 10/6 as a pretty regular starter for the Wizards, playing around 20MPG. Really efficient on the offensive end

I would love a 28-yr-old center who averaged 21/12/4 with 25 PER for a playoff team.

Well those are pretty good numbers but can he guard Embid or will he be a turnstyle?
