I do think Boston would be highly motivated and very interested if they drew Miami in round one.
This would be my personal nightmare fuel given Miami's history. However, beating down Miami in round one could only give them a ton of confidence.

Like the sweep against the Nets 2 years ago. Maybe if they slay that demon they get on a roll again.

or like Milwaukee intentionally trying to get Miami after losing to them the year before, then beating Maimi in round 1, before winning the title.

Sometimes that confidence boost in round 1 propels you to greatness.

That’s the difference between this year and last year. Instead of hunter they will be the hunted.

Nice to know the bucks will get the Heat or Sixers in round 1.  Of course, same for the Cs unless there’s a Bulls or Hawks upset.

History leads me to favor playing the Sixers I guess, but a 100% Embiid is not the ideal 1st round matchup.  I guess we’ll see how he looks over the next couple weeks.   I do like the idea of Sixers-Bucks. Knock one of Embiid/Giannis out.  Bam’s no picnic either I suppose.

Color me surprised, makes me think they hope to get to 6th.

That's very unlikely.  The Sixers are 3 games back of the Pacers in the win column and the Pacers hold the tie break.

Sixers have a much easier schedule.

IMO the sixers and heat are playing for the right to host the play in game in the 7/8 match up.

I would love for Philly to win and be the 7 while the heat somehow lose to the bulls for the 8 seed.

Could be the Bulls' revenge game. I think last year the Heat knocked them out in the play-ins. Now they're back for some revenge.

I’d prefer the heat in round one over the sixers with embiid I think.

Sixers would give the bucks a run

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

For as long as Embiid can play, PHI is a much better team than their record. I want them to be 7 and have a tough series vs MIL. Embiid is only going to hold up for so long. The later we meet them the better.

I do not fear MIA at all.  Whether it is MIA or CHI or ATL, I don’t care.
