I really want to beat Houston. Full strength, have Marcus contain Russ, and Jaylen destroy Harden. Kemba go for 40... Tatum take the night off going 4/7 from the field.

I don't like Houston thinking they are better than us. They are not.

That is all.

My thoughts exactly. I fully believe we are better than them, but they also seem to wreck us. It's one of the rare games that I scream at the TV.

TP to the OP

Down with Houston! They are sooo annoying that it comes to a point where Im not even sure I will cheer for them when they face the Sixers or Lakers.

I'm not too concerned with it beyond just continuing to win games to obtain the second seed.

I don't think Houston is a likely matchup for the C's if they get past Toronto/Milwaukee.

All wins are important at this point.  2nd seed helps a great deal in that 1st round matchup.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I’m slightly concerned about facing Kyrie in the first round. While the nets are fine without him he doesn’t seem to miss a tough shot against us going back to when Bradley was trying to guard him

I'd be more concerned playing the Nets with him being out.

Philly or the Pacers with Oladipo rounding into form potentially are much much stronger teams than the Nets/Magic.

Yeah, the gap between 6 and 7 is the same as the gap between 2 and 5 right now in the East. Managing the 2nd seed would make for a much easier first round than getting 3rd seed.

I hate to nitpick, but this thread is about hating on Houston, not discussing ECF matchups. Feel that Houston hate. Live it.

Thanks. xox

I do hate Houston, Westbrook, and Harden. To put some scale to that hate per the OPs demands that all things bow to his grand vision. My hate for Houston and its stars is only surpassed by my hate for the Lakers and for OPs who scold for people daring to have a natural conversation in the thread they started.

More seriously I hate how Houston plays, not small ball I'm good with small ball but the extreme foul hunting on one end and the Utah Jazz extreme shove and whack every play on the other.

Well, we didn't have Kemba tonight and boy, we could have really used him.
