I didn't see any desperation to win last night except maybe with Kyrie. It was like they were satisfied with the 8 straight and decided to let this one go. I feel it was an unacceptable effort. The teams they beat in their 8 straight had a winning percentage of 35%, so even though it was admirable, it wasn't against the best competition. We need to step it up against playoff caliber teams. Ang Big Al - we need you to come back eventually.

I think Al will be out for six weeks or so.

any knee tendinitis i ever had took months to resolve , but i could not rest or nor did i have medical staff .   Im skeptical myself on the quick fix.  Seems Morris lingered for a long time with simular issue. It takes its own time .

Energy was low and they were possibly worn down ,  and Detriot was ready and jumped , Detroit just seemed to have more gas in the tank and C's were just done after couple quarters , tank was empty.

Detroit is a bad team compared to Celtics, especialy if we take a look at the bench. Back to back was not an excuse. Our deep rotation gives more rest to our players than in other teams. We just have to beat such opponents, regardless of BTB and bad shooting. We just got too many good players unlike Pistons. A minus in my notebook for tonight's loss.

I agree.  Hayward, Brown and Rozier were terrible last night.  Brown and Rozier hit one shot and Hayward was 3-11.  While playing an average of 25 minutes each. That is putrid bench play.
Can't blame this only on the bench. Morris, Tatum and Kyrie shot terrible. Those three were 2 of 15 from three for 13% from three and shot 20 of 50 from the field for just 40% shooting overall.

This was an entire team breakdown. Tatum, Morris, Kyrie, Hayward, Brown, Rozier and Williams were all pretty terrible on offense to varying degrees.

Let's go C's! First game in awhile that I've got to watch live due to being on-call!

Guys, now I found the real reason we lost.

 :P

Actually now that I think about it, I wasn't here last night either (I was out).  :o

I find it incredibly odd that you include Williams in that group. He played 10 minutes and took one shot. It’s like you’re going out of your way to back up your comments about how raw he is

As I said. Varying degrees. Williams was simply non-existent on offense. So he only had one shot but he added nothing so I included him.

I mean, if Williams isn't included, should Brown be excluded too? He took 4 whole shots hitting 1 and had two assists though he rarely touched the ball.

Whether players shot awful or just did nothing, I included them.

This was a good slap back to reality. Big games coming up the next two weeks. Hopefully this re-centers their focus.

I was worried about this game from a matchup perspective. Not a lot of teams play with 2 bigs like Drummond/Griffin. Cs def could have used Al tonight.
