Celts played really well tonight.

The offense was crisp, they were in a rhythm and I think they're better off with both Horford and Baynes in the starting lineup as it gives us much needed size.

Smart was great, Horford looked rejuvenated and Hayward looked like a different man tonight.

Anyone know why Kyrie wasn't on the bench supporting his teammates?

Lebron pulled this same crap last week when he wasn't playing during the Lakers/Bucks game.

One off away game, no need to travel with the team especially when they want him to rest.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Okay...I just thought whether it was home or away, even if a player is getting rest that he would join his teammates on the sidelines.

What the heck happened with Brown not playing?

It could be a number reasons.

But one thing's for sure, Celts have too many players of the same kind.

That will not happen again next season when the Celts trade for AD.

Which will lead to a mediocre roster after AD leaves Boston after one season.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

I dunno. Paul George was just as much of a sure thing to leave OKC for the Lakers, yet here we are. Kawhi is more likely to either stay a Raptor or go to the Clips than the Lakers.

Will be interesting

Don't think many players do that if they're resting for a one game road trip

That is often the case, depending on the player or the seriousness of an injury. With Irving, Stevens and Ainge are grateful when he shows up for home games - even happier if it's a Game 7 in the Garden.

Yes it will be. And you are right, sometimes these guys grow fond of their "one year rental" team. Just feels like a huge risk to destroy what has mostly been an extraordinary rebuild. It means something to me for our players to have some level of attachment to the Celtic tradition. I beleieve the guys we drafted and signed as free agents like being part of the Boston Celtics.

Agree with you there. Gordy, Al and our young guys (especially Smart) all seem to not want to play elsewhere. I think if DA believes we can win it all with this team - with the addition by subtraction of Morris and Rozier - then I hope he sticks with it. I've also grown very fond of JB this season, and now probably like him more than Tatum.

I've learned over the years that Danny knows far better than I do (me being critical of both trading down for Tatum and trading what I thought was going to be a chance for Luka Doncic in the BKN pick for Kyrie), so it's really just about waiting and seeing.

Playoffs can't come soon enough for me.

Let's all dont forget that the Celtics were playing with a "must-win" mentality after dropping 4 straight.

Against the Cleveland Cavaliers of all teams. Post-Lebron era.
That's assuming they care about winning anymore.

First game I missed that we've actually won  makes watching the DVR totally worthwhile. I guess the 2-big lineup worked well against Love and Tristan Kardashian?
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D
