Some comments on Sixers Reddit and Liberty Ballers

Quote
I gotta hand it to them, this team always finds new and interesting ways to be an abject disaster in the playoffs.

Quote
Most embarrassing part is that the second half sounded like MSG

Well boys, it’s win or Tobias goes home. We finally made it.

Quote
I was already planning on drinking tonight but I decided to just begin in the 4th quarter today.

Quote
Silver lining: one more loss and we don’t need to watch Tobias Harris ever again.

Quote
It supposed Nurse would be an advantage this season but is he any different than Glenn?

Wow Clips are running it through George and Harden and they are dominating so far. Like Game 1.

Half joking but maybe the Clips are better off without Kawhi? He's clearly not gonna be right this entire postseason and I'm sure LAC by now has practice playing without him since he's always hurt anyways.

I think giving him that huge extension was a massive mistake. Funny thing, PG can still walk this summer. He should've been the priority.

My fear is that George could go somewhere like the Sixers this offseason. Embiid-George-Maxey. Ugh

I think he's the Sixers primary target this offseason. Embiid has the injury cloud too, but you can sell PG that Embiid is willing to tough it out in the playoffs and on Maxey's continued improvement.

George and Embiid are HOF players with both injury history and age rearing their heads. George will be 34 next week and Embiid is now on the wrong side of 30. If I were a Philly fan I’d love it, but there would be legit worry throughout the journey.  Maxey is also an agonizingly good offensive player. Yeah - healthy they’d be on par with the Celtics.

If LAC puts it together for a run to the Finals, why not stay?

Yeah it is hard to get inside a player's head sometimes.  Is Embiid-George-Maxey that much of a a better team than a KL-George-Harden team?  Does PG want to move to Philly?  He is originally from CA.

Knicks remind me a little of the Isaiah Thomas Celtics…fun team that plays hard and plays greater then its collective talent but if they’re suppose to be our biggest threat to making the finals then once again everything is falling into place for it being our year.

Agreed. They need Randle to have any chance of beating a good team in a playoff series. Without Randle, they just do not have enough firepower.

Brunson had 47pts and 10ast tonight. So 67+pts out of their 97pts as a team. He was 2/3rds of their entire offense. Probably 70%. They cannot beat top teams this way.

Clips are 16-24 from three point land. 67%.

PG13 leading the way 6-9 3PTA
Harden 4-4 3PTA
Mann 3-5 3PTA

Powell 2-4. Westbrook 1-1. Coffey 0-1.

Wow, 5pt game.

I thought DAL were running out of steam there. They had cut it to 13 around the 11min mark and made no progress down to the 5min mark. Now a quick run late in Q3 to get it from 13pt to a 5pt game.

Make that a 2pt game.

Graphic on screen says 11-0 run over last 4:22

Luka is not looking good out there. He's almost thrown off the momentum of this Dallas comeback a few times.

now down to 3.  you could see this coming a mile away once Kyrie started to get it going in the 2nd quarter.  Clippers relaxed and haven't been able to get their energy back since then.

Q.  Does someone get fired if a team gives up a 31 point lead in a playoff game?

Nice play by Westbrook. They need him to give the team a lift here. They need his energy. His speed. Get out and push the pace. Get the team some easy hoops.

Everything too slow right now. Harden slow. PG13 slow. Zubac slow. Everything in the halfcourt. Everything setup to make it easier for DAL to defend them.

Westbrook needs change the pace of this game.

I thought the crowd in the first half was awesome. They were down 25 and instead of getting negative or apathetic, they got loud at every little thing down right.

TP, I noticed that too. Team went down big but the crowd was still behind them.

Harden getting away with some play acting. Tiny contact. Acts like he has been shot. Gets the foul on Gafford.

I don't either of these two teams can beat OKC in the next round. I didn't give OKC much of a chance in the playoffs a few weeks ago but the bracket has been kind to them. I would be surprised if they are not in the WCF playing DEN or MIN.
