Apparently we signed Parker.

Didn’t see that one coming.

I thought this thread was going to be about Jabari Bird.

Wow, that's a shocker. Another body, I guess? He does have a decently high bench, and he can also play the 4.

When you blow a game so badly that you immediately get canned for Jabari freakin' Parker, haha.

Wish you the best but won't miss you, Wagner.

I don't expect much from Parker tbh.  I think he can score some, but he couldn't guard anybody even when he was healthy... and I wonder if his knees still work.  Still, he's better than Wagner.

2 year deal and Wagner was released.

Knowing Danny it's one of those 2 year deals where the 2nd year isn't guaranteed and so can be used in trade during the summer as a contract someone can take on and cut to save cap space.

Low risk high reward. Can’t be worse than the 3rd stringers. See ya Mo.

I like Jabari as a scorer off the bench. I’m just thinking if Mo was the right guy to waive. So basically we could have had Theis/Parker instead of Kornet/Wagner?

Disappointed that Wagner didn’t work out, but that’s life.  Interesting that it’s a 2-year deal, because that costs the Celtics a little more against the tax.

I know nothing about him.  What’s his problem?

Right after the trade deadline, if you told me the C's were going to release a player, I would have guessed Kornet over Wagner.

Even looking at the title of the Kornet thread and the first few posts, it seems like that was a popular assumption.

So I wonder if Danny's plan was to always waive Wagner (if he had to waive someone) or if Kornet's play got him promoted and/or Wagner's got him demoted (or both).

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

I was convinced he was going to be a perennial all star type when he was coming out of college.  I haven’t paid attention  to him for years and I’m not sure of his whole injury history or why he’s been so bad.  I’m curious about this signing.  The type of player I expected him to become is what this team needs.  Can he get healthy and can Brad get his career back on track?

That was my thought as well, especially with Timelord's knee acting up. I thought it might be salaries, but Luke makes about $140K more than Mo does
