Should be yabu time pretty soon.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Hayward makes the right play. Brown......

Kyrie and Horford are great passers, but, Hayward is right there too...like Dan Marino, quick release.

Hopefully it's going to be Horford and Tatum for AD.

I don't want Smart included in the trade for AD.

smart never was going to be in the package. i want to keep JT also

rozier and brown MAY be in package
First, Horford won't be included as he can opt out of his deal if he doesn't want to play in NO/leave Boston.

Second, My guess is will lose 2 of Brown, Smart and Tatum. Tatum is gone so I think Smart goes because Brown will be the better player long term so Ainge might prefer to keep him and because with his $12.5 million salary, the C's don't need to include even more players due to Brown only making $6.5 million

that makes it tough.  wow.   as long as we get better i can stomach losing tatum although he is our best young guy now. but losing smart would be tough. this will be a wild deal. if it happens. if we lose smart and tatum i hope brown can get up to tatums level.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

It's sad to think we could potentially be losing a few of these guys (Tatum, 1 of Brown/Smart, etc.) in the summer  :(

Freakin' Lebron going to the Lakers... there was a time it looked like Brown + Kings Pick + salary was enough...

Hopefully it's going to be Horford and Tatum for AD.

I don't want Smart included in the trade for AD.

As important as Smart is to our identity and overall play, Al is just as important, if not even more important. Really need to keep him moving forward, especially if he'll opt out of his final year and give us a deal in exchange for a four year deal this summer.

For the salaries to match, either Horford or Smart must be included.

AD's salary for next season is 27m.
Without Horford's or Smart's contract, no way Celts come close to 27m.

Well, that ultimately depends on (a) whether Brown AND Tatum are included, (b) if Rozier would be willing to work out a sign and trade with NOLA, and (c) where our draft picks land.

If we end up getting a higher draft pick and pick for New Orleans, we can sign him, wait thirty days, and add that salary as part of the trade, which could get you approximately another $6M or so added to the deal.

Not sure any player on the Celtics have played poorly tonight. Great team wide effort tonight.

10 assists for Rozier - credit where credit is due. He definitely has better decision making when he is starting.

True.

That's why Ainge has a decision to make next week.

This game and last game certainly have not been 'gimmes' without Kyrie. BKN and CHA are both currently playoff teams and the Cs are coming up big.

Note: this is not a slight against Kyrie - just great to see our guys playing so well!

Good stretch for Boston. Should be a win in NY Friday...big game vs Thunder at home and then the Cavs. Should start making a run.

Rozier's new deal will not be the basis for a sign and trade.
It will be his base salary.
That means even if Rozier's new contract is for 15m per year, he will not count as 15m in a sign and trade.
